One Person Killed in Collision With A Cement Truck Near Anna, Texas

February 17th --ANNA – One person was killed when a cement truck and a car collided in Anna Tuesday afternoon.

DPS spokesperson Lonny Haschel says the crash happened shortly before 1:30 p.m. on CR 210 in the eastbound lane.

The cement truck went off the shoulder, over corrected and ended up back on the road, Haschel says.   The car was traveling westbound when the cement mixer crossed over the median.

The cement truck crashed into the car and the car was pinned between a tree and the cement mixer.

The driver of the car died at the scene.
