LUBBOCK POLICE OFFICER KILLED IN HEAD ON COLLISION

LUBBOCK (November 2, 2014) An off-duty West Texas police officer was one of two people killed Sunday morning in a head-on crash.  Jeremy Shedd of the Brownfield Police Department was killed in the crash as he drove home from work Sunday morning.
Authorities say a Ford pickup crossed a median and slammed into Shedd’s Toyota pickup truck.  The 26-year-old man who was driving the For pickup also died.  The driver of a third vehicle that was traveling behind one of the trucks was injured
